A custom-built 670 hp turbo-diesel powered Markley 46 designed by Robb Ladd of Annapolis and built by Allen Boatbuilders of Cambridge, meticulously maintained by Annapolis Harbor Boat Yard, Full Moon was proudly launched in June 1995. Racking up thousands of hours from Annapolis to New York to North Carolina, she was the subject of two feature articles in Chesapeake Bay Magazine, even gracing a cover, and numerous articles and press mentions, detailing the vessel’s unique charm and capabilities, not to mention Cap’n Mike’s penchant for delivering fun to his many friends. Full Moon sports a comprehensive array of dual-screen Furuno electronic equipment, a networked laptop, radar, autopilot, depth sounder, two ICOM vhfs, epirb, even a 10-person rescue platform. With her 18′ open cockpit and cabin top racks, and 28′ of enclosed interior accommodations, Full Moon can easily transport kayaks, paddleboards, bicycles, and YOUR friends or family for an unmatched day of fun, excitement & adventure on the Chesapeake and its tributaries.
